Tabo Monastery is one of the oldest monasteries in the world and a favourite of the Dalai Lama. Spiti is a second home to many Gaddi sheep and goat herders (the nomadic tribe of Himachal) who come to this valley in summer for grazing their animals from the surrounding villages.

Day 1 Departure from Delhi to Shimla

Once you reach Delhi, you will have to proceed towards your boarding point of an AC Volvo Bus for the overnight journey from Delhi to Shimla.

Day 2 Chitkul, the Last Inhabited Village on Indo -Tibetan Bborder

Upon your arrival in Shimla, meet the representative who will brief you about the tour and transfer you to Chitkul, the last inhabited village before the Indo-China border. Journey through ever-changing scenery, from lush forests to open meadows, apple orchards to rugged terrain. Along the way, pass through Sarahan and Rampur Bushahr. Reach Chitkul where you can have a meal at the ‘Hindustan ka Akhri Dhaba’. Check-in to your hotel / homestay for an overnight stay.

Day 3 Chitkul to Nako

Post check-out from your hotel in Chitkul, the driver will take you to Nako, located near the Indo-China border in the Trans-Himalayan region. Pass through the charming Kinnaur Valley and take the Indo-Tibet Highway. See where the Spiti and Satluj Rivers meet at Khab Bridge. Arrive at Nako, check in, and start local sightseeing with the driver. Explore the tranquil Nako Monastery and spend the evening by Nako Lake. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4 Nako to Kaza and Local Sightseeing

Post check-out, the driver will pick you up and take you to Kaza, a picturesque town in Spiti. Pass Sumdo, and turn right to see Gue Monastery's 500-year-old mummy. Then, head to Tabo Monastery, nicknamed 'Ajanta of the Himalayas'.Continue your journey towards the Pin Valley National Park where you might spot the Snow Leopard. Later, reach Kaza and check-in to your hotel / homestay for an overnight stay.

Day 5 Sightseeing Around Kaza

The driver will pick you up from the hotel and take you on a sightseeing tour around Kaza. Begin by visiting Komik, Asia's highest village. You will then travel down to Hikkim & explore the world's highest post office. Continue to Langza Village and visit the Lang Temple. Next, visit the picturesque Key Monastery & continue towards the charming Kibber Village. Later, visit the Chicham Bridge & return back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Kaza.

Day 6 Kaza to Kalpa via Dhankar

Post check-out, the driver will pick you up from the hotel and take back towards Kalpa. On the way, take a left to visit the majestic Dhankar Monastery. Continue your journey towards Kalpa and take a right from Powari towards ReoKong Peo, the main town of Kinnaur district. Reach Kalpa and check-in to your camp / homestay for an overnight stay

Day 7 Kalpa to Shimla and Departure to Delhi

Check out of your camp or homestay in Kalpa and meet the driver, who will transfer you to Shimla. Travel through the slithering roads following the Satluj and passing the rich Deodhar forests to reach the capital city. Conclude the tour as you get dropped off at the Shimla Bus Stop, where you will be boarding a bus back to Delhi.
